For our 3rd shoot, we were up in North Wales in a breathtaking location on the edge of Halkyn Mountain.
My Photographer for this shoot was the extremely talented, Martha Lily photographer. I was excited to work with Martha as I had been following her Instagram account for a while, as she offers super photography tips and, I had been trying to improve my skills. So I was looking forward to meeting her in person.
Our model for the day was Sapphire and her gorgeous horse Eleri. What can I say? Sapphire’s turn out skills are next level. Both she and her horse were impeccable in every way. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Sapphire. The relationship between her and her little mare was one that people dream of, the trust and respect they have for each other was so clear to see.
We were lucky to have extra help on the day as well. Debbie (Martha’s mum) was an expert at getting those perfect expressions on Eleri’s face, and Beckie (Sapphire’s friend) was our location manager and drove us from each location ensuring the day ran smoothly.
After the shoot, I offered for Sapphire to become a brand ambassador.
I was so impressed with Sapphire’s level of dedication to her horses. It was lovely to meet someone with such passion and drive from showing at a high standard to riding across the rugged welsh mountains at her home.
